Editorial policy

Prediction pages should clearly distinguish a forecast from a recorded result. Historic losses remain visible, material corrections should not silently rewrite the original prediction, and sponsored links are labelled.

Purpose of this policy

This policy explains how Correct-Score.net prepares, publishes, updates and corrects prediction content. Our aim is to make a clear distinction between forecasts, derived markets, bookmaker prices and verified final results.

Before publication

Predictions should contain an identifiable fixture, competition, date or kick-off information where available, and an exact-score selection. Related markets such as BTTS, Over/Under 2.5, total goals and winning margin are derived from the same scoreline unless a separate source is clearly stated.

Prediction integrity

Once a prediction has been published, the original exact-score selection should not be silently changed because the match later develops differently. Material pre-match corrections should be made transparently. After settlement, the archived prediction remains visible alongside the recorded final score.

Results and corrections

Where a final score is available, public win/loss status is determined from the published prediction and recorded final score. If an old stored status conflicts with those scores, the public archive uses the score comparison. Factual errors such as a wrong team, fixture date or final score may be corrected and should not be used to manufacture a better historical record.

Use of automation and AI

Software and AI-assisted tools may help structure fixture information, normalise team names, derive related markets, draft explanatory text or support quality-control checks. Automation does not guarantee accuracy. Claims about injuries, line-ups, form or other external facts should only be published when supported by reliable data available to the editorial workflow.

Odds and affiliate links

Bookmaker prices may change at any time and can differ by location. Odds displayed on the site are indicative snapshots when available. Some outbound bookmaker links are affiliate links; commercial arrangements do not determine whether a prediction is marked won or lost and do not permit historical results to be altered.

Corrections and contact

Readers who identify a material factual error can contact the site through the Contact page. We prioritise corrections that affect the identity of a fixture, a published score prediction, a final result, market interpretation or a material disclosure.

Responsible gambling

Editorial content must not describe any prediction as guaranteed, risk-free or certain to win. High-variance markets such as correct score and large accumulators should be presented with appropriate risk context and links to safer-gambling information.
